Together with several graphic designers I was asked to design a poster (A0) for the GVD-poster project for Graphic Design Festival Breda 2010. The designs had to be based on one of the 43 statements of the ‘Incomplete Manifesto for Growth’ by Bruce Mau. The statement for my poster is: “Ask stupid questions – Growth is fueled by desire and innocence. Assess the answer, not the question. Imagine learning throughout your life at the rate of an infant.” It’s a wonderfull statement. It only misses one thing: a questionmark.

Some time ago I finished the book with interviews and photographs of 15 well-known Dutch and Belgian photographers (Ad van Denderen, Alice Smeets, Chris de Bode, Filip Claus, Jimmy Kets, Joost van den Broek, Layla Aerts, Lieve Blanckaert, Martijn van de Griendt, Merlin Daleman, Paul Van den Abeele, Reyer Boxem, Rob Hornstra, Carl De Keyzer, Wouter Van Vaerenbergh). My dear friend Lise Lotte wrote it for a Belgian publisher. There's an error in the colophon though: I DID NOT make the cover. Above you can see a preview. More pages will be posted.

My latest project is up and running. I'm going to make a collective cityview of Utrecht. I made a website with a call for submission of photographs of Utrecht. If you have any photographs of Utrecht, please join to become part of the project! There's only one rule: the Domtower has to be in the picture.

Yuri and I presented our tourisme project at Mediamatic during the first Ignite evening. The theme of this first edition was mapping. It was nice to see that people liked our projects a lot. And there were some other great presentations as well!

I've fininshed several projects lately. But I'm too busy to post them right now since I'm finishing some projects, moving to a new apartment and leaving for a well deserved vacation right after that. So be patient!

I was asked by TwoPoints from Barcelona to submit the poster I made for the GVD-poster project. They are working on a series of books called 'I Love Type'. More info on that soon.

There will be a second run of 'Door de lens van professionele fotografen'. I've finished corrections some weeks ago and it should be in stores now.
In progress
I was asked to join a pilot for RTV Utrecht, a regional television station. We are making a programme about two young artists (me being one of them) that do a project about their city. I've already had two days of filming and right now I'm working on a concept for the project.
